The Harsey D2 is a rugged Double-Action™ automatic knife that was designed with
law enforcement and military personnel in mind. It features a hidden automatic
blade-release mechanism that is located beneath the Kraton® handle to keep
the mechanism both hidden from view and sealed from the elements. The automatic
blade release button is located next to the blade pivot on the left handle side,
under the soft cover material. When you press down in this area you will find
the recessed blade firing button and pushing here will activate the automatic
blade firing mechanism. After you practice finding this spot several times it
will come very naturally to you. Press with aggressive force to fire the automatic
function as the D2 was built to military specifications on blade firing force.
With no button exposed on the
handle to fire the blade it is not easy for the untrained eye to tell the D2
is an automatic knife. This allows you to keep the
automatic feature of the knife a secret if you wish. The D2 has a stainless steel
frame and heavy duty CPM-S30V blade for outstanding performance under all conditions.
The Kraton® handles are molded and textured to provide a comfortable non-slip
grip. This innovative design was built to military specifications so it is rugged,
comfortable and reliable. You will not find a tougher or better looking Double-Action™
automatic knife anywhere. The D2 is proudly built in the USA and has a limited
lifetime warranty.
